MY PERSONAL OPINION....HIP-HOP Artist Of The Year & R&B Artist Of The Year ('09)
Hip-Hop
Drake
He clearly dominated the hip-hop industry with hits such as (Best I Ever Had, Successful, and Forever)all three reaching at least #2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop on the billboard charts. He was also featured on 4 songs that reached top ten Hot R&B or Hip-Hop. He has also been consistent since his debut single peaked.

*Runner Up (Jay-Z...didn't dominate the whole year)
R&B artist of the year
Jamie Foxx
He controlled the R&B industry since Feb. until nearly Sept. with hits such as Blame It (which hit #1 and was a major hit doing the summer), She got her own (which won a grammy), and Digital Girl. He album went 2X plat.
*Runner Up- (Alicia Keys-came out too late in the year)
