Underrated; sounds A LOT like Andre 3000 back in the day. Different kind of MC so don’t expect the usual from him. Check him OUT!!

Not a fan..I think he is completely overrated
8)Asher Roth-
Without a doubt my favorite artist on this list because of his subjects and content on his album. He brought back “real” music without violence. My favorite track on his album is “Take Me As I Em” because it allowed me to gain a ton of respect and it enlightened me on his thoughts about being compared to Eminem. He probably isn’t going to be in the game for a long period of time honestly because of his album sales but he is appreciated. One of the most lyrical artist in the game along with pure intelligence. He just needs some image polishing. Another thing I like about him is he DOES’NT go commercial; I’m pretty sure he could have made more party records or tracks that will appeal to the masses but he didn’t choose that route.
7)Nicki-
She is dope. POTENTIALLY one of the dopest female “MC’s” since MC light. But I hate that Barbie doll shit..CUT IT OUT!!!!!!!!
6)Soulja Boy-
He just on here because I respect his stats (SO FAR) but he will be out of the game by next year…..Sorry Soulja lol…
5) Big Sean-
Hasn’t really racked up stats but, his flow and different approach to songs make him stick out. He signed with G.O.O.D music about 2 years and its finally paying off. If you haven’t checked out the Finally Famous Mixtape Pt.2, go do so. I like his music and I defiantly believe he is wayyyy below the radar right now and deserves more time in the spotlight.
4)Wale-
Has good music but I PERSONALLY don’t listen to it. Not because it’s bad but it just doesn’t catch my ear. His buzz is getting humongous and fans continue to spread. I have MAD respect for him as a artist because he appreciates the craft and shows that with his music.

3) Kid Cudi-
One of my personal favorite artist because of his creativeness and beat selection. His album “Man on the Moon” favored “808’s and Heartbreak” A LOT. I think he wrote the majority of things on “808’s and Heartbreak”. He is overlooked as a artist because he isn’t a “rapper” or “singer” so he can’t be classified. I know yall remember his hit “Day N’ Night” but his album surpassed expectations for me and there are much better songs than that on the album. BUY IT!
2)Drake-
No Album-But he has made a change in the game. I personally enjoy his old music rather than his new bullshit. He needs to stick to his roots or he is just going to blend in. FOR THOSE WHO HAVENT HEARD COMEBACK SEASON check it out. I’m not taking anything from So Far Gone because I think that was great too. But recently he has been talking about the same bullshit Lil Wayne talks about frequently. When he raps and transitions that into singing its dope as HELL and VERY VERY unique. I have mad respect for Drake but he needs to go back to the ORIGINAL DRAKE when he actually RAPPED.
1)Bow Wow-
Now!... one of the most underrated ENTERTAINERS to come into the industry. Well check his stats before you speak. Albums, Movies and longevity made him #1 because typically artist doesn’t stay relevant as long as Bow Wow has; and he still is relevant. The “Lil Bow Wow” faze was ONE of the biggest pandemoniums hip-hop history. He was the youngest artist to have a #1 record. So big ups to Bow Wow…yall can say what you want but check his stats and look back on his records..he has had catchy hits. Regardless of him writing the actual song it’s still dope (FYI: 90% of singers don’t write their own music)
Honorable Mention- .KOM-Kingz Of The Mic
We are MC’s, rappers, two talented individuals and I believe we can do big things if people LISTENED to our music. If people just gave us one listen I think their prejudgments would fade away.
